busiest day of the year for job applicationsJanuary is well known for being the month of new beginnings. We often look to reinvent ourselves, make resolutions and a fresh start. As a result, the first month of the year traditionally sees a surge of job applications.

.January is always an exceptionally busy time for recruitment as workers look to make a change in their lives and fulfil their New Year’s resolutions. As a result, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd amongst a sea of other applicants. We’d therefore advise job seekers to start their application process early – but never forget the value of proper preparation. Ensuring you have a thorough understanding of the company you are applying for and tailoring your CV to the role will work wonders for any job search in the New Year.
