Sidel selects Talentia for its HR and Talent Management solution

-

Sidel, a global provider of PET solutions for liquid packaging has chosen Talentia Software to provide its Human Capital Management (HCM) software.

The software will used throughout the organisation on an international scale to reduce the administrative workload for HR and involve managers more effectively during vital processes including performance management.

Sidel has worked closely with food and beverage companies for over 100 years, providing packaging on a global scale. After identifying a need to reduce administration, increase HR automation and improve the autonomy of managers and employees during HR tasks a decision was made to invest in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Adèle Rees, HRIS manager at Sidel, says:

“Employee and manager self-service, particularly for the performance appraisal process, was an important requirement for us. We want to empower employees and encourage greater involvement from them and their managers in key HR processes and throughout performance management. Automating these processes will also help lessen the administrative burden on our HR department.”

Sidel employs more than 3,400 people across 30 countries and five continents, with HR operating locally in all countries.

Adèle Rees adds, “It was imperative that the HR system we implemented was available in multiple currencies and languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. As a truly international solution, Talentia HCM provides all of the currencies and languages we require.”

Talentia HMC offers a variety of user profiles and extensive workflow functionality to effectively automate key HR processes and facilitate greater involvement from employees and managers.

Julie Windsor, managing director of Talentia Software UK, says:

“Through the provision of a single, consistent source of HR data, our Human Capital Management solution helps businesses to effectively manage, engage, motivate, develop and retain their people,”

“We are delighted that Sidel has chosen to implement our HR and talent management software, and will be working closely alongside the business to enable the realisation of a sizeable return on investment from this HR technology.”
