MyJobMatcher.com, the world’s best job matching system, is joining forces with the Salvation Army this Christmas to raise funds to help the vulnerable.

From Monday 23 December until midnight on Wednesday 31 December, MyJobMatcher.com will donate a penny to the Salvation Army every time a jobseeker clicks to view a job.

Chris Smith, chief executive of parent company Opinio Group, says: “The Salvation Army does an invaluable job over the Christmas period to help those most needy and we’re proud to be supporting them in their work.”

With already over half a million people using the system to find their next job, Chris hopes that what they raise will help some of the most needy people moving into 2014.

Launched in December 2011, Opinio Group is a suite of digital businesses that are focussed on improving the jobseeker’s journey.

MyJobMatcher.com is the company’s lead product and is effectively a confused.com for jobs.  Jobseekers simply upload their CV and within seconds they will be matched to the most relevant jobs for them and get daily alerts of new matches thereafter.  The business has 700,000 live UK jobs sent daily from all the best and leading job boards.

Since April, over a quarter of a million jobseekers have already joined the free service – with thousands more signing up daily.

Opinio Group has two other core products Applitracker and IMPS – both enable a recruiter/hirer to reach jobseekers quicker and better than ever before through its Intelligent Mass Posting System.

The business is expanding into the USA in 2014 with the formal launch of MyJobMatcher.com tabled for Q1.
