Towers Watson has appointed Chantal Free to lead its Talent and Rewards business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), replacing Mark Reid who now leads the company’s Global Executive Compensation practice.
The Talent and Rewards segment is one of Towers Watson’s four main business areas and provides human capital consulting, data and technology to global organisations. Prior to this appointment, Chantal led the Reward, Talent and Communications (RTC) line of business in the region, establishing strong market positions and growth in emerging markets such as Turkey and the Middle East.
Chantal has been with Towers Watson for over 17 years and in that time has led the company’s Human Capital Consulting business in Hong Kong and the UK, the HR Mergers and Acquisitions practice in Asia Pacific and the Sales Effectiveness and Compensation business in Europe. Prior to joining Towers Watson, she was a management consultant in London where she specialised in the areas of change and human resources management. Chantal has a degree in Business Administration from Bosphorus University in Istanbul and an MBA from Imperial College London.
