London based HR networking group, myHRcareers, has announced that they will be expanding into Manchester. The community, dedicated to aspiring HR professionals, will be taking its popular HR networking parties to the glamourous Media City, Manchester, in October.
Founded in 2013 by Veran Performance and led by Charlotte Hallaways, the group’s mission is to provide every HR professional with the opportunity to network, debate important HR topics, and hear top quality talks regardless of their experience, budget they hold, or the company they work for. The aim of this friendly and vibrant group is to inspire and support those new to the HR profession connecting them to the best minds in the HR industry.
In just 11 months the group, now with over 4,000 members, has hosted 15 personal development workshops, 12 Networking parties and one international conference; HR Game Changer.
Now a firm favourite amongst HR professionals in London, the community seeks to provide more members of it’s community with the chance to physically attend it’s famous events. By popular demand the community will take the proven principles of its informal networking parties to the North’s HR Hub. Inviting HR professionals from not only the UK’s biggest and best loved brands, but small to mid-size companies and innovative start ups too, this free event is open to anyone who is passionate about HR.
Organisers are confident that the informal, fun and thought provoking atmosphere at their well-attended networking events will be easily transported to the north of the UK. As in London, the nights will start with TED style talks from senior and experienced HR professionals from a wide range of sectors, industries and companies, before the group launches into a fun filled evening of networking and latest HR debate.
MyHRcareers believes that this new, exciting, location in Media City marks a new stage of growth for the group, and another un-paralleled opportunity for the HR community to collaborate and transform together. Free of charge, and open to all this is a truly democratic members led event, aimed at connecting & learning, making it unique to the HR events market.
