Employment body seeking recruiter feedback on qualificationsA UK employment body is seeking feedback from recruiters throughout the country as it looks to shape its qualifications programme for years to come.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s (REC) Academy for Business has launched a "major review" in order to meet the growing demands of "burgeoning regulatory and business framework" as well as continuing towards greater professionalisation of the industry.

According to the body, its aim is to provide a better path for a recruiter’s career progression.

Judith Armitage, director of the professional development at the REC, said the review of its activity is designed to ultimately deliver a relevant and robust programme for professionals in the sector.
