How the Fit for Work scheme works

As of this week, the Fit for Work scheme is available to all full-time employees in the UK.

Designed to help employees return to work after a long absence due to sickness, the free service is backed by GPs across the country. An employee can be referred to the scheme by either their employer or doctor if they have been, or are likely to be, off sick for four weeks or more.

The following video breaks down each stage of the Fit for Work process:
