Towers Watson appoints new head of EMEA HR Service Delivery practice

Towers Watson has appointed Tim Richard as head of the firm’s HR Service Delivery and Technology practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in London, Tim joins from Towers Watson’s Dallas office where he was managing consultant of the firm’s North American HRSD practice.

With over 25 years’ experience in Global HR systems integration and project management Tim played an important role in the rapid growth of the practice’s successful Workday integration service in North America. Tim’s EMEA role will focus on growing the firm’s Workday integration partnership in the region and expanding the team’s existing HR transformation work with Global blue chip companies.

Before joining Towers Watson 7 years’ ago, Tim was Director of IT for a large organisation in Dallas responsible for all administrative systems as well as a senior consultant for another large global consulting firm. Tim holds an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University and a degree in Business from the University of Illinois.

Commenting on his appointment, Tim said, “This is an exciting time for the EMEA practice as businesses focus again on investment in HR services and Workday look to capture a significant share of the market in the region. Towers Watson is ideally placed as a leading integration partner to grow the business even further over the next few years. The team is expanding quickly and we are taking on new clients all the time so it’s thrilling time to get on board and lead our business growth.”
