technologyTalentia by Lefebvre Software acquires Cezanne Software, extending its European presence and adding Human Capital Management to the Talentia range of solutions

The acquisition of Cezanne Software, a leading European provider of HR and Talent Management solutions, is Lefebvre Software’s fifth external acquisition within the last six years. This transaction allows Lefebvre to strengthen its expertise and product range, and expand its presence across Europe.

“In six years we have tripled our turnover and consistently achieved our profit targets. This financial strength has allowed us to pursue the ambitious strategy that we set at the beginning of our adventure in 2007. Our company is expanding, and today we are starting a significant new phase that will increase our visibility in Italy, UK and Spain and open up new markets for us in Portugal, Greece and the Americas,” says Lefebvre Software’s CEO, Viviane Chaine-Ribeiro.

Cezanne Software’s suite of HCM solutions comprising Connect, Enterprise and HRCharter, have been implemented by over 700 customers including many of the world’s best known companies. Cezanne’s software and services add an important new dimension to the existing Talentia range of performance management products (Finance, CPM, Consolidation, Reporting, Budgeting and HR-payroll) to achieve an holistic approach to strategic enterprise management.

This acquisition comes at a time when human capital is increasingly at the centre of corporate strategy.  Today both local and international organisations recognise the need to better manage their workforce, by motivating and nurturing their employees to achieve excellence in highly competitive environments.

“Rarely does an acquisition present such significant synergy of product, market and location for our existing customer base, and for other companies looking to implement a global information system,” comments Lefebvre’s Research & Development Director for Europe, Philippe Perier. “Enhancing our existing solutions with the addition of a comprehensive range of strategic HR modules will enable us to deliver even more value to our customers.”

Incorporating Cezanne Software, Talentia will support 3,700 customers worldwide, and will draw on the expertise and commitment of its 430 employees, across eight countries, to deliver an expected turnover of around €60M by the close of 2013.

Viviane Chaine-Ribeiro concludes “As we prepare to publish growth figures for 2012, a new challenge has begun.  With our professional products, talented people and expanding international presence, Lefebvre is well placed to support companies to effectively manage performance in the current climate.” Viviane adds “Whatever the economic climate, Lefebvre Software and its people proudly continue their journey with conviction and optimism.”
