The business world is changing fast and the IOR is revolutionizing HR qualifications to reflect this.

The Institute of Recruiters’ new Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Human Resource (HR) Practice is a new and exciting alternative to existing HR courses.

“Business has moved in the last decade and training needs to move with it,” says Azmat Mohammed, the IOR’s director general.

The seven-month course offers blended learning through the IOR’s new state-of-the art online learning centre and includes seven face-to-face masterclasses taught by top professionals and advisers to the HR teams of leading companies. The practical curriculum enables students to be work-ready.

“The IOR qualifications are, above all, practical,” says Mohammed, adding, “Learners are able to adopt new skills from the start, right the way through their qualification.”

Business entrepreneur James Caan, founder and CEO of investment group Hamilton Bradshaw, says the new IOR HR qualification offers a refreshing change to courses which have remained static for decades. He says, “If you’re looking for a HR role to provide a substantial return on investment, you have to get the recruitment aspect spot on. Businesses will only grow if they have talented and ambitious people constantly coming on board.”

Caan adds, “This new HR Qualification will equip professionals in recruiting, retaining and supporting staff, and I fully support the IOR in bringing this qualification to the market.”

These new IOR qualifications will be delivered by some of Britain’s finest and most respected law firms, including Irwin Mitchell, Eversheds and Hill Dickinson. They are trusted to advise the HR teams of some the world’s largest companies.  These law firms see the good and bad of HR through the work they do for HR teams around the world. They help design pay and reward schemes, employment contracts and advise their vast HR client base daily.
