Nicola Oliver will be on the speaker panel at the Health @ Work Summit in London on 12th June.

Nicola was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder following work related stress and a mental breakdown in 2007. She will be sharing her own experiences of working with a severe mental illness and will give an honest account of her decline into mental illness, her dismissal by her employer and how she manages her condition within the workplace.

Nicola was previously a management consultant and now she works at the Centre for Mental Health helping healthcare set up employment services to support people with severe mental illness to find or return to sustainable competitive employment. She is also currently writing her PhD research proposal which investigates the links between the immune system, mental illness and nutritional therapy.
