Cancer in the Workplace Seminar

With cancer cases reaching record highs, there are few employers who are not touched by cancer , either their employees directly or family members. The trend is relentlessly on the increase, and the cost of treating cancer is only moving in the same direction. The good news, however, is that if cancer is detected early on it can be treated as a chronic disease; with survival rates on the increase too.

At this lunch seminar, hosted by HealthScreen UK and Aviva at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London on Thursday 12 June 2014, a group of experts including Dr Pixie McKenna, Professor Gordon Wishart, and Aviva’s Dr Doug Wright and Dr Umang Patel will discuss corporate healthcare, what is happening with cancer and its treatment, what tools are available for employers to screen and support their workforce and the effect cancer has on Private Medical Insurance premium and trust funds.
