iphone-appsMeet the first HR application in the Office 365 Marketplace, created by Fild.NET, a Poland-based company specializing in advanced Microsoft solutions

TimeOff for SharePoint 2013, streamlining the process of submitting and processing employees’ leave requests, is the first app designed for Human Resources departments to be found in the Office 365 Marketplace. The creator of the application is Fild.NET, a company specializing in advanced Microsoft solutions.

The TimeOFF application extends the standard capabilities of SharePoint 2013. When installed on your company’s SharePoint site, the app will enable your employees to submit leave requests with ease, while allowing authorized staff to accept or reject such requests. TimeOFF is offered in the Lite version – as a free application ideal for small organizations, and in the PRO version – for bigger organizations. Fild.NET can also prepare the TimeOFF application for any other SharePoint version, customizing it to your specific needs and requirements.

– The ability to specify any types of leave from work and the relationships between them, as well as public holidays
– The ability to assign to each employee the days off he or she is entitled to (for each of the per-defined types of leaves)
– Single-level acceptance of leave requests, e.g. by the HR department
– A calendar available to an employee that presents his or her leave requests and vacation plans

TimeOff v. PRO offers additional functionality, including: two-step acceptance of leave requests available depending on the type of a leave request (e.g. a manager + HR), e-mail notifications with planned leave entries in a calendar, graphical presentation of vacation plans of staff available to their manager and HR Department, indicating an assistant allowed to accept leave requests (e.g. on behalf of the CEO), printing leave requests and creating reports.

“During the first few days of presence in the Office 365 Marketplace, our application has been installed in 46 different organizations around the world, gathering very positive reviews. We are currently working on new applications for SharePoint Online, designed for HR, Finance and Production departments” – says Andrzej Biesiekirski, CEO of Fild.NET Sp. z o.o.

The recently announced Office 365 Marketplace is a spot where every Office 365 user can browse through the Internal App Directory to find web-based apps and services available for Exchange, Lync, Office and SharePoint Online. SharePoint apps are by far the most important part of the Office 365 Marketplace. This is so because SharePoint requires more customization than other Microsoft software to adjust it to industry and department-specific needs. Using SharePoint applications from Office 365 Marketplace you can find the needed solution very fast and at a lower cost than ever before. However, you must be aware that you can find only universal applications for common solutions in the marketplace.
