The Access Group strengthens compliance and learning offering with MY Compliance Management acquisition

-

The move builds on Access Learning’s existing offering, positioning it as a more comprehensive provider of digital learning and compliance tools. The combined platform now serves over 3,000 customers globally across a range of sectors. This expansion comes amid growing complexity in regulatory environments, with businesses increasingly requiring efficient systems to manage risk and ensure compliance.

Founded in 2015, MY Compliance Management provides cloud-based software focused on safety, health and environmental (SHE) compliance. The platform offers a range of modules designed to simplify compliance processes, including action tracking, incident reporting and audit management. It is designed for accessibility and ease of use across organisations of varying sizes, from small businesses to large enterprises.

The acquisition reflects The Access Group’s strategy of delivering a unified approach to learning and compliance, streamlining operations for employers and providing employees with tools to meet regulatory expectations.

Focus on integrated compliance and learning solutions

Elliot Gowans, General Manager of Access Learning, said the addition of MY Compliance Management will strengthen Access Learning’s capabilities by combining risk identification, training and ongoing compliance management in one platform.

He stated, “The acquisition of MY Compliance Management represents an important milestone in our growth strategy. This innovative platform creates powerful synergies with our existing learning solutions, addressing the complete compliance lifecycle – from risk identification and assessment through training delivery to ongoing compliance verification.”

He added that the deal will enable Access Learning’s customers to manage compliance more effectively, offering confidence and tools to meet complex regulatory obligations. Gowans emphasised that the acquisition reflects the group’s commitment to providing tailored solutions for a diverse global client base.

MY Compliance Management’s platform offers offline functionality, enabling users to access compliance data even without an internet connection. It also includes features such as automated reporting and advanced action tracking, intended to enhance operational efficiency and support faster decision-making.

Enhancing product innovation and customer experience

Chris Fuller, Founder of MY Compliance Management, welcomed the acquisition, highlighting opportunities for customers to benefit from future product enhancements and increased integration within The Access Group’s portfolio.

He said, “Joining The Access Group represents an exciting evolution for our business and customers. We’ve been consistently impressed by the Access Group’s product portfolio and their commitment to innovation. Our customers will benefit from a roadmap of enhanced product capabilities, more integrated user experiences, and access to cutting-edge AI functionality.”

The acquisition will see MY Compliance Management’s technology integrated into Access Learning’s existing suite of services, creating a platform that spans compliance training, reporting and performance tracking. This is expected to support organisations looking to consolidate their compliance and learning operations under a single provider.

The Access Group continues to focus on investment in technologies that address workplace learning, employee development and compliance needs. Its latest move highlights a trend among HR technology providers to offer broader, more cohesive solutions that simplify compliance and learning management.

Gowans concluded, “This strategic acquisition not only enhances our product capabilities but also expands our position in the global compliance software sector. We are delighted to welcome MY Compliance Management’s customers, partners, and team members to The Access Group family, and we look forward to supporting their continued success through our expanded solution portfolio.”
