Sir Richard Branson joins panel for 2015 Talent Unleashed Awards

-

Leading technology recruitment specialist Talent International as launched the 2015 Talent Unleashed Awards. It has again enlisted the support of Sir Richard Branson as the program’s main judge.

Now in its third year, Talent Unleashed is a world-first, global technology award program for start-ups, entrepreneurs and visionary leaders, rewarding and recognising individuals who are unleashing, innovating and changing technology in business and the community.

Branson will personally announce the global winners at an Awards final ceremony on 11 September 2015 in Sydney.

The 2015 UK Awards program offers two categories; One to Watch in 2016 and Best Start-up and Most Disruptive CIO/CTO. The UK category winners, as well as winners from across the globe, will then present to the panel of judges in Sydney and the two best presenters will win an exclusive trip of a lifetime to Branson’s Necker Island.

Talent International managing director Richard Earl says:

“Talent developed the Talent Unleashed Awards to stimulate the technology sector globally to become more entrepreneurial. Locally, the start-up industry is vitally important to the UK’s economy and long-term future, so we launched the awards here in 2014 as a way to recognise the achievements tech entrepreneurs are making.”

Joining Sir Richard Branson on this year’s panel of judges include, last year’s ‘One to Watch’ winner and PlayMob founder Jude Ower, passionate social issues campaigner Jane Tewson, Global CIO leader Jonathan Vardon, ad Talent’s UK CEO Jonathan Butterfield.

The UK Talent Unleashed Awards winners will be announced at a central London venue in early September, ahead of the global Awards in Sydney.

“Last year’s Awards were highly successful – we received more than 750 entries – and we anticipate this year’s Awards program to be even bigger,” Earl adds.

“Put simply, we are seeking entrants who have used technology to transform the business or social landscape.”
