Over half (53%) of workers aged 21-30 believe their employers are not recognising them for the work they are doing, according to new research published in askGrapevineHR.

A survey by Canada Life Group Insurance suggests that feeling unrewarded in the workplace negatively affects working relationships, with nearly a third (31%) of younger employees stating that they are likely to have a major dispute with another colleague who is making their lives difficult, compared to 23% of those aged 51-60.

A quarter of respondents aged 21-30 feel as though their opinions are not being listened to, compared with 18% of older employees.
