Support the next generation of HR Leaders – Brightmine HR Scholarship now open

-

This annual scholarship recognises outstanding students pursuing advanced education in HR and provides both financial assistance and professional resources to help them succeed in their academic and career journeys. This funding is intended to support the pursuit of a master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field at an accredited institution.

This year, selected scholars will receive a $1,000 (U.S.) or £1,000 (U.K.) grant toward tuition for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic school year. In addition to the tuition grant, successful applicants will also be granted free access to Brightmine HR & Compliance Centre for the duration of their postgraduate program. This will give students hands-on experience with leading-practice tools widely used in the HR industry, helping to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

As Human Resources continues to evolve into a strategic and transformative function within organisations worldwide, we know the importance of investing in individuals who are passionate about shaping the future of HR. This scholarship aims to highlight students who are not only committed to the field but also demonstrate the vision and potential to drive meaningful change in the HR field.

“Supporting the next generation of HR professionals really starts with supporting today’s HR students,” said Alicia D. Smith, Head of Market Strategy at Brightmine. “We started this scholarship to help students keep moving forward in their studies—and to give future HR leaders the tools they need to grow and succeed. We truly believe education and technology can make a big difference in the future of HR.”

Alicia, who’s also on this year’s Brightmine HR Scholarship judging panel, added: “I’m excited to be part of the panel this year, along with six other judges who each bring a unique perspective. We’re looking forward to reviewing the applications and doing our part to make sure we recognize the most deserving candidates.”

The 2025–2026 scholarship application window is now open. If you are passionate about enhancing your education in HR or know someone who is, seize this opportunity to further tomorrow’s HR talent.
