Totaljobs.com launches jobs confidential blog

-

Today, totaljobs.com is launching a new blog aimed at both recruiters and jobseekers called Jobs Confidential. It will offer authoritative, insightful and opinionated analysis on the issues that matter most in the job market.

The blog will feature alongside the totaljobs.com website and add to the extensive advice already offered by the UK’s leading jobs board. Every article posted on the blog will allow an open forum of debate for visitors to comment quickly and easily. Visitors to the blog will also be able to link up with totaljobs.com’s twitter feed and share the blog with their twitter contacts.

Content within the blog will be split up into four distinct types, including:

• News analysis – providing context and analysis on current events and stories affecting the jobs market in the UK.
• Trends – here will house the new monthly version of the Totaljobs Barometer, providing discussion and insight on the raw data it generates, as well as offering industry experts a platform to examine the latest changes in the UK jobs market.
• Opinion – key industry figures will write insightful columns on the topics that matter to the recruitment industry.
• Features – will provide a light-hearted look at real-life stories from jobseekers and recruiters.

John Salt, Director at Totaljobs.com said: “In launching Jobs Confidential we’re hoping to add to the arsenal of information we already offer jobseekers and recruiters, all to help make finding a job or a candidate easier.”

He added: “In today’s climate, it’s important that jobseekers and recruiters have as much information available as possible. This blog will provide an additional asset to anyone with an interest in the labour market, offering a wealth of information all under one roof to make it easier for recruiters and jobseekers to understand current trends in their sectors and regions as well as giving a more rounded view of the whole UK recruitment marketplace .”
