NUS Provides Extra Help for New Graduates

New graduates are being given Extra help in their first year out of study with a new career support themed discount card from NUS Extra.

The Graduate Extra card is available to all those that have graduated in the last 12 months. It offers discounts with over 80 partners with a focus on services that can assist in finding work such as career advice, online training, Prospects job listings and CV writing assistance.

Added to career based discounts are a mixture of partners designed to help with the costs of day to day living such as supermarkets, insurances, dry cleaning and mobile phones. Also in the mix are a selection of lifestyle discounts such as health and beauty and fashion.

Ed Marsh from NUS Extra comments: “As a student you are able to access a wealth of discounts using your NUS card and NUS Extra card, but times can be hard when you graduate.

This is the first card available in the UK specifically targeted at graduates to give them a lift in the big world. It has been designed to suit the needs of any graduate whether they are looking for work, embarking on their first job or taking a gap year, with carefully selected discounts to meet the needs associated with each of these life stages.”

The Graduate Extra card costs £30 and lasts for 2 years. It can be purchased online at
