Mitie announces pre-employment screening and on-boarding partnership

-

Mitie, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, has today (February 2) announced a partnership agreement with Base HR, a leading UK HR consultancy.

In an industry first, Base HR’s clients will have access to specialist pre-employment screening and on boarding support services through Mitie’s UKCRBs and recently acquired Procius businesses.

Base HR clients will benefit from preferential rates as well as access to the Mycheck™ vetting platform – offering a wide range of vetting packages including financial probity, criminal disclosures, aviation vetting, financial services vetting and security vetting.

Meanwhile, Mitie will be able to vet employees at an even earlier stage of the recruitment process.

The partnership will also enable clients to work with Base HR and Mitie for a range of other on-boarding services.

Darren Gamage, managing director of technology services, Mitie’s total security management business commented:

“I’m delighted to be working with Base HR and their clients. I see working with them as a great opportunity to support SMEs with an effective online vetting solution and the partnership marks the start of our channel partnership campaign.

“Today’s increased threat climate demands an awareness of the ‘insider threat’ and employers need to understand the potential risks of recruitment. Additionally, employees now have far more complex career histories than in the past, making it harder to get recruitment right first time. This partnership will increase both the security and first-time success rate of recruitment.”

Alexandra Garner, managing director of Base HR, said:

“We are so pleased to be able to support our clients in their selection and onboarding needs through such a reputable and secure solution. I look forward to working with Mitie, UKCRBs and Procius in 2015 and beyond.”
