Small entrepreneurial conference and publishing business seeks marketing executive with digital and web experience to manage our email marketing, websites and social media.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in email marketing, website content management and maintenance or web editorial looking to take the next step in their Marketing career. You will be responsible for creating around 15 email shots a week promoting our events and operating our digital newsletters.

Your role will include scheduling campaigns, drafting copy, selecting and editing appropriate imagery, defining target customer groups from our database, designing email templates, monitoring campaign performance and account management.

In addition, you will be managing two websites – a product site which sells our conferences and a magazine website which hosts news and analysis linked to our target audiences. Editorial skills (excellent written English) are essential for this role, but a basic knowledge of web programming and coding would be a plus. You should also be happy discussing advertising queries with customers and taking on wider marketing tasks such as developing alliances with potential partners, print production, media relations etc.

Ideally you will have some knowledge of In design, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, social media sites and perhaps an email marketing tool such as Email Vision.

Personally, you should be flexible, proactive, willing to take responsibility to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
