Organisations including The Royal Bank of Scotland, BT and the National Grid are said to have submitted feedback to the benchmark questionnaire launched by Business in the Community’s (BITC’s) Workwell programme, and the remaining companies have ten more days to complete their entries.
The benchmark is in response to research indicating a critical link between strong human capital management and organisational performance, which suggested that FTSE 100 companies that have robust arrangements in place outperform others by 10%.
It has been revealed that all FTSE 100 companies will be benchmarked against the BITC Public Reporting Guidelines on employee wellness and engagement, with Towers Watson completing the assessment on behalf of companies that do not take part.
Entries for the questionnaire will close on 25 November 2012.
