CM Group, a global leader in the field of innovative eLearning and mobile learning solutions, today announced that internet television service NOW TV has selected CM Group’s Luminosity range of learning solutions. The learning solutions will provide mobile ready delivery and gamification for NOW TV’s third party sales channel.

NOW TV will use CM Group’s Luminosity Reach next generation Learning Management System (LMS) and Luminosity Studio eLearning authoring platform to radically change the way training is delivered to their external sales advisors.

Ben Long, Training Manager at NOW TV said, “Having used Luminosity Reach and Luminosity Studio in previous companies, I know first-hand how intuitive and user-friendly the solutions are. The solutions will enable us to create and deliver our eLearning programmes much more efficiently and to the highest quality.”

A key element in the selection process was CM Group’s experience of implementing gamification into learning programmes. Gamification features are incorporated into Luminosity Reach as standard. NOW TV’s sales advisors will earn points and achievement awards, such as virtual badges, medals and trophies by carrying out various learning activities. A leaderboard will display their position relative to other sales advisors.

Luminosity Reach’s REST APIs will ensure a seamless integration with NOW TV’s existing ‘Spotlight’ training and communications resource.

In addition to SCORM, Luminosity Reach and Luminosity Studio both support Tin Can (Experience API), which will enable NOW TV to capture online and offline learning activities including the completion of quizzes, article views, video plays and document downloads.

With its ease of use, and out-of-the-box features and interactions, Luminosity Studio will enable NOW TV to create high quality and engaging HTML5 based eLearning programmes quickly and cost effectively. The use of HTML5 will enable the eLearning programmes to be accessed by users utilising the widest range of devices, including tablets.

Full customisation capabilities will allow NOW TV to create their eLearning programmes in a consistent look and feel, to comply with their corporate branding requirements.
