JAM recruitment expands global mobility team

-

JAM Recruitment has expanded its London-based global mobility team with three new hires in response to growing demand from businesses seeking relocation professionals to manage the movement of employees across international boundaries.

Peter Bromfield has joined the 13-strong specialist team as Business Development Director, from Alchemy Recruitment. Peter has 20 years’ experience in global mobility and formally worked for international relocation services provider ICM Gerson. He is joined by Team Manager Ronak Patel and Senior Consultant Matt Bunyan who together bring over 12 years’ recruitment experience from Blue Chip recruiters to the team.

JAM’s specialist global mobility team works with a portfolio of international businesses and has so far have placed over 750 candidates into employment at locations including the UK, Europe, APAC and the Americas.

Matthew Reaney, director at JAM Recruitment, said: “Career expats now make-up over 3 per cent of the global workforce and this is forecast to double between now and 2020. As a result we’re experiencing fast growing demand for a wide range of skills – from expatriate tax advisors and immigration lawyers to global mobility professionals.

“There are a number of drivers, notably the fact that international businesses are increasingly aligning global mobility with talent management as they look to expose future leaders to new markets. We’re also seeing a lot of changes to immigration legislation, some of which can carry corporate fines. With the pressure on to ensure policies are watertight, businesses are increasingly looking to build strategic expertise in global mobility into their HR teams.

“We’ve been steadily growing our teams in London and Manchester, including the launch of a specialist immigration division earlier this year. Peter’s arrival will provide another boost as we look to develop our portfolio of international clients.”

JAM Recruitment was founded in November 2000 by CEO John Morris. With its headquarters in Manchester and offices in London, JAM operates on a national and international scale. To date, it has placed c.9000 staff and is a trusted recruitment partner to some of the UK’s biggest employers.
