Edenred launches next generation Childcare Vouchers

-

Edenred is to launch the next generation of its Childcare Vouchers at the end of September.

The centrepiece of the new development is a new online community called Parent Hub, where employees can learn about common issues related to parenthood including:

  • family finance
  • health and nutrition
  • work/life balance
  • special needs
  • step families and single parenting
  • homework
  • sleep

The new platform is designed to improve the support that working parents receive about issues around family and parenthood by making it a core part of the Childcare Voucher service from Edenred.

It will also benefit employers who will be able to provide more holistic support for parents which goes beyond simple childcare voucher provision. The new platform will be launched in phases. The first phase will see a roll out to over 100,000 beneficiaries by the end of September.

Laura Czapiewski, Childcare Vouchers Product Manager of Edenred said.

“As the people who pioneered Childcare Vouchers in the UK market, we really understand the importance of constantly redeveloping our service so that it meets the needs of employers and working parents. We have developed our next generation childcare voucher platform in close collaboration with our clients, who range from some of the UK’s leading employers to one man businesses.

This new development recognises the importance employers attach to looking after parents through the different stages of parenthood. Using Childcare Voucher provision as an opportunity to educate and inform parents by providing them with unbiased facts and knowledge, from leading experts in the field will help working parents find that useful balance between work and family.

The new development also reflects a marked trend among employers who are looking to move away from a ‘voucher only’ approach towards the provision of more value-added benefits from their Childcare Voucher supplier.”

Parent Hub is supplemented with the Family Advice Line, a 24\7 freephone telephone service offering advice and support with all aspects of family life which is also available to all parents using Edenred Childcare Vouchers
