Businesses urged to make 2012 salary survey the biggest yet

The 15th annual salary survey, spearheaded by independent agency Anne Corder Recruitment, has been launched across the region.

Questionnaires are currently being distributed to a number of high profile companies enabling them to provide salary structure information.

Peterborough-based ACR is, once again, working in conjunction with specialist reward consultants Paydata Ltd which will analyse the information provided.

The 2012 Peterborough Local Market Survey will be published in the autumn providing a snapshot of remuneration packages for use by recruiters and companies. Participants will receive an in depth analysis of their pay structures in comparison with others, allowing them to benchmark for pay reviews and recruitment purposes.

ACR recruitment partner Nel Woolcott said: “We have made some tweaks to this year’s survey to reflect the changing jobs market both in Peterborough and nationally. Participants receive a detailed results package enabling them to benchmark their salary packages against others to ensure they remain competitive in the recruitment market.”

Tim Kellett, director at Paydata Ltd, is overseeing the compilation of the survey. He said: “Nationally we have seen slightly higher pay reviews in our market databank than last year. However, we often see fluctuations at a regional and even local level. It is going to be interesting to see if there are any variations in Peterborough, either more generally or for specific jobs or skills.”
