More organisations in hot pursuit of learning specialist


According to the latest Badenoch & Clark talent spotlight review organisations are feeling more confident about the future and are now willing to make longer-term investments in learning and development specialist especially at managerial level.

It seems that professionals specialising in learning and development have been in hot demand since the beginning of 2011 as opportunities have arisen across both public and private sectors.

Lynne Hardman, managing director, professional services at Badenoch & Clark said;

“As companies focus on staff training and development, there are increasing specialist opportunities for providing training in HR. Specific areas of demand include technical training experts in financial services, strategic resource for CPD programmes within professional services, and the training of technical sales teams in the wider commercial sector.”

“FMCG, logistics and manufacturing are all sectors that are actively hiring HR professionals, particularly at the senior Business Partner level. The retail, financial services and IT sectors are also driving up demand, particularly for learning and development and job evaluation roles.”
