Monster launches social recruitment tool

Monster UK today announced the launch of Monster Social Job Ads, a social recruitment platform that enables recruiters to target both active and passive candidates on Twitter.

The technology automatically targets relevant candidates, providing an immediate and automated distribution of a client’s selected jobs to targeted candidates among the full Twitter user base, beyond their own followers.

Andy Sumner, Managing Director, UK & Ireland, of Monster.co.uk, says:

The product uses proprietary targeting technology, aggregating career-specific data, from more than 100 social sources as well as Monster’s expansive CV database – this makes it simple for potential employers to find and engage with candidates across Twitter, regardless of whom those individuals follow.

After a one-time setup, the automated process turns the Monster Job Ad into a targeted social ad campaign, exposed to Twitter’s 15 million active UK users. In addition, Monster Social Job Ads provides targeted Twitter users with a branded snapshot of the job details, including skills needed, location, education level and salary.
