Emily Plosker
Emily trained at Mishcon de Reya and joined BDBF on qualification. During this time, she has gained a wide range of litigation experience, acting for both employees and employers in the Employment Tribunal and High Court in relation to a variety of disputes including discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of restrictive covenant claims. In particular, Emily has acted for employees bringing claims against the NHS for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistle blowing.
On the non-contentious side, Emily has advised a mixture of employees and employers ranging from high-net-worth individuals, SMEs and HR departments in a variety of industries. Emily regularly provides contractual advice and negotiates settlement agreements. Emily has also advised a number of employees in relation to a TUPE transfer of an organisation which splintered from its parent company to form an employee shareholder scheme.
Emily is a fluent French speaker.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys watching films (horror and musicals mostly), eating excellent curries and visiting her family in France.
