In a recent study conducted by employee engagement experts Weekly10, the top 25 companies to work for in the United Kingdom have been revealed, showcasing Google as the leading employer with an impressive employee satisfaction score of 82.88 out of 100.

Google’s top-ranking position is attributed to its outstanding performance in various categories, including career opportunities (95.35), salary (89.30), sick pay and vacation system (87.86), and flexible work hours and work-from-home policies (79.14).

The company’s overall commitment to employee well-being is reflected in its median yearly salary of approximately £82,500.

Salesforce Excels in Health Benefits and Flexibility

Claiming the second spot is Salesforce, with a satisfaction score of 81.28. Salesforce garnered high ratings for health benefits (97.98) and flexible hours (97.71). However, the company’s business outlook experience score of 63.51 slightly impacted its overall standing. The median yearly salary at Salesforce stands at approximately £73,566.

Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank Secure Top Positions

Financial services giants Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank secured the third and fourth positions, respectively, with satisfaction scores of 79.61 and 79.29. Morgan Stanley excelled in CEO approval (86.75) and boasts a median yearly salary of £67,658, while Deutsche Bank scored well in business outlook (72.95) with a median yearly salary of £73,002.

Cisco Systems Rounds Off the Top Five

Rounding off the top five is Cisco Systems, a digital communications company, with a satisfaction score of 79.11. Cisco Systems received high marks in the business outlook category (83.78) and maintains a median yearly salary of £56,389.

Criteria for Evaluation

Weekly10’s analysis encompassed online Glassdoor reviews for 1,090 companies with a presence in the UK, focusing on those with more than 1,000 reviews, 20 salaries, and 5 job openings. The evaluation included categories such as salary, business outlook, recommendation to friends, CEO approval, health benefits, financial benefits, flexible work hours, working from home, sick pay, vacation days, transportation benefits, career opportunities, and miscellaneous benefits.
