Learning & Development (L&D) professionals have the opportunity to learn from experts and share their own views via a new online community forum. The World of Learning Conference & Exhibition has launched a dedicated community section on its website enabling professionals to exchange views, share experiences and discuss the latest industry trends in advance of the event which takes place on 30 September and 1 October at Birmingham’s NEC.

Members are encouraged to enter the debates and exchange ideas on the topics discussed which include the best duration for a training course, M-Learning and face-to-face versus online learning.

Alongside the community is a blog showcasing the thoughts of some of the industry’s leading innovators. These vary from how to implement smart training, top tips for getting the most from your talent process and 5 reasons why you should invest in mental health training.

L&D professionals can find out more and join the discussion with their industry peers at www.learnevents.com/community.

The online community offers the opportunity for the L&D industry to connect before the World of Learning Exhibition & Conference takes place on 30 September and 1 October at the NEC Birmingham. The UK’s most comprehensive learning event provides free educational features, expert advice, networking opportunities and explores current industry issues – all under one roof.

The World of Learning 2014 is held in association with the British Institute for Learning & Development, The Institute of Leadership and Management and UK Trade and Investment.
