Jon InghamJon Ingham , Human Resources and OD Consultant , Strategic Human Capital Management

 

Jon Ingham is an independent strategic people management and organisation development consultant. He regularly speaks and provides training in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia and has also lectured in strategic management, change management and human resources on executive MBA courses in both West and East Europe.

Jon is also the author of ‘Strategic HCM: Creating Value through People’ (2006) and is currently completing a second book called ‘Social Advantage’. He also posts regularly to blogs with these same titles and has recently been recognised as the top global online influencer in talent management.

Currently working with Strategic Dynamics, Jon was previously with Director of Human Capital Consulting, Europe for Buck Consultants / ACS and as Head of HR Consulting for Penna. Before this he worked as an International HR Director for Ernst & Young, and before that as an IT then change management consultant for Andersen Consulting.

Jon has a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Engineering and an MBA. He is a Fellow of the CIPD.

Graham WhiteGraham White, Director of Human Resources, Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust

 

Graham is the Director of Human Resources at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust (BSUH). Prior to joining BSUH, Graham spent ten years in local government, most recently as the Director of HR at Westminster City Council where he implemented many changes including a council-wide remodelling of the remuneration of all staff, the restructure of the council’s workforce and the council’s redundancy programme, which has seen the removal of over 550 posts making budget savings of over £20 million. He pioneered the publishing of senior salaries leading the way for other councils to show the same level of transparency about their senior staff.

Prior to joining Westminster City Council, Graham was Head of HR and Organisational Development for Surrey County Council. There he was responsible for delivering HR for the council’s workforce of 33,000. He undertook a fundamental review of HR service delivery with major non added value and transactional activities either outsourced or operated within a Shared Service Centre approach. This reduced the HR team from almost 400 to just 40 and took 9 million pounds out of the budget.

Graham’s preceding career was mainly in the private sector with positions in a variety of commercial and financial institutions including manufacturing, retail, banking and policing.

Graham is a renowned speaker both nationally and internationally and is openly anti the business partner. He regularly speaks on the benefits of being in a business not just partnering with it.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Graham is a devoted family man who is personally committed to the values of flexible working as he maintains a full family life in his home in Northern Ireland and a busy professional career in the UK.

Karen Nightingall is the Group Head of HR, UK and Ireland for CMA CGM UK Group. CMA CGM is the world’s 3rd largest global shipping company, with its headquarters in Marseille. She joined the Company 3 years ago, having spent most of her career within the private sector.

Karen has a Masters in Business Administration; she is a fellow of the CIPD and has a Masters in Human Resources Management.

With over 20 years’ experience at senior management and board level, Karen is currently responsible for strategic HR for CMA CGM UK Group, incorporating, CMA CGM (UK) Shipping Ltd, MacAndrews & Co Ltd including ANL, Delmas and CMA CGM Ireland, with responsibility for 15 offices in UK, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.

During the last 3 years Karen has brought communications, branding and HR business partnering to the UK group and has developed a strong EVP and a passion for engagement, bringing the different corporate brands closer together.

Irene StarkIrene Stark, HR Director, ATS Euromaster

Irene has worked in all areas of HR in various industries – starting in Retail and working in a number of energy and related companies before ATS Euromaster. The HR team at ATS have won a number of national awards both at the HR Excellence Awards and Personnel Today, including; Team of the Year, Best Internal Comms Strategy and Learning and Development Award. Irene’s team has been short-listed 3 times for Personnel Today Team of the Year and Irene was short-listed last year for HRD of the year.

David Warlow, ‎Director Global HR Operations, Willis

David Warlow is a Global HR Operations and Transformation specialist with extensive experience in the design, creation, operation and transformation of HR Operations functions. He also has a wider background in Operational Excellence, including lean, six sigma and TQM.

He has lead, managed and transformed both captive and outsourced/off-shored HR Shared Services for global, major UK plcs and national public bodies, including Willis, Centrica, Rentokil Initial, Royal Mail and Transport for London.

He is currently responsible for a HR Target Operating and Service Delivery Model review at Willis, a global Insurance Broker and Risk Advisor, as a precursor to a global major Cloud/SaaS based HR Management System design and implementation for 17000 employees.

Peter ReillyPeter Reilly, Director HR Research & Consultancy, Institute for Employment Studies (IES)

 

Peter Reilly the Director of Research and Consultancy at the Institute for Employment Studies. He joined IES in 1995 after a 16 year career with Shell where he held various HR posts in the UK and abroad including both generalist jobs (eg as Personnel Manager for Shell UK’s Information and Computing division) and specialist roles (eg in compensation and benefits, recruitment and career development, and industrial relations). At the Institute he leads its work on the HR function and significantly contributes to the Reward and Performance Management theme. He has given consultancy support to organisations on issues in this area and is a regular speaker and commentator.

He is graduate in history and politics from Cambridge.

John WallaceJohn Wallace, Programme Director, Serco Group plc

An independent consultant, who’s recent career has focused on delivering significant business benefit through major HR projects within large organizations.

He has gained sector experience within Services, Telecomms, Aerospace, IT / Consultancy, Automotive, Oil, Gas and Manufacturing industries and has over 26 yrs in HR working with such household names as British Gas, Orange, Panasonic, Daimler Chrysler and Airbus.

With extensive experience delivering HR transformation programmes, he has faced many challenges associated with HR Organization Design, the HR Operating Model and HR Shared Services Deployment along with the necessary enabling technologies.

John’s most recent assignment has been with the global services Company Serco, leading the transformation of people management across UK, Middle East, North America and Australia

Ollie RobertsOllie Roberts, Head of HR, Corporate Offices, SABMiller

 

Ollie Roberts is Head of HR for the Corporate Offices at SABMiller plc, which is one of the world’s largest brewers with 70,000 employees. SABMiller have brewing interests and distribution agreements across six continents and presence in 75 countries. Their wide portfolio of brands includes premium international beers such as Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Miller Genuine Draft and Grolsch along with leading local brands such as Aguila, Castle, Miller Lite, Snow and Tyskie. SABMiller plc are also one of the world’s largest bottlers of Coca-Cola products. In the 2013 financial year, group revenue was US$34,487 million. Ollie is the HR Director for the Corporate Functions, including Global Information Services.

Before joining SABMiller plc, Ollie worked for DTZ plc where he was the Group HR Director, responsible for HR service delivery in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific, as well as for the Global Reward & Talent Management teams. Ollie’s career started as a Finance graduate at GE Capital, before undertaking a Masters in Human Resource Management and then a variety of HR business partner roles within Cable & Wireless plc and Ernst & Young.
