Edenred launches new “on demand” mobile employee discount scheme

-

workers-on-mobilesEdenred is launching a new mobile employee savings scheme which will allow participants the opportunity to find discounts on the move with their smartphones and tablets.

The new scheme will work through a mobile website which will allow employees to check for discounts when they are out and about. It features a unique location-based service which will flag up last minute offers for retail purchases and savings on meals.

The service will compliment the existing employee savings portals which Edenred provides for clients and allows employees to buy discounted gift cards, vouchers and SMS vouchers. All of this will now also be available on the mobile service which will allow users to top up any reloadable cards held by the user.

“While desktop employee savings portals remain an important way of providing employee savings, we recognise that mobile is now leading the way people shop, check prices and find places to eat out.

For employees this means having access to discounts when they need them and where they are relevant.

Our new service delivers just that, as well as real-time offers which give people a genuine reason to check for discounts when they are on the move.

For employers the addition of the mobile platform provides a truly powerful employee savings scheme which should increase participation and make it easier for employees to benefit from the discounts on offer.

Following the recent introduction of our mobile childcare voucher service, this new launch shows our commitment to delivering innovative, high quality mobile employee benefits for employers.”
