HRreview recognised at Towers Watson’s Awards for Excellence in HR Journalism

-

HRreview, online HR news service, took the top honours for Online HR Publications of the Year. The judges felt that the winning publication tackled innovative, engaging and thought-provoking issues. They also liked HRreview for its readily available content and usability.

Other awards went to Andrew Hill from the Financial Times who won the National Media HR Journalist of the Year award and Chris Holland from the Bradford Telegraph and Argus who won the Regional Media HR Journalist of the Year award. Gabriella Jóźwiak was named best HR Newcomer for her work in Payroll World.

Chantal Free, HR Award judge and UK head of rewards, talent and communications at Towers Watson, said: “The judges were taken aback by the number of high-quality entries that we received this year and although many of the categories proved difficult to decide on, we were very pleased with the calibre of winners this year. HR management issues continue to be high on the agenda for all businesses and informative, fresh-thinking journalism continues to provoke debate and add to our knowledge and understanding of these issues.

“We would like to thank all of the journalists who took the time to enter the awards and offer congratulations to our worthy winners. A special mention should go to the HR Newcomers category which was one of the strongest and most competitively fought awards this year. The judges all agreed that the quality of entries in this category bodes well for the future of HR journalism.”
