Expanding the horizon at HR Advantage

-

HR Advantage has expanded with its recent acquisition of Adhere Training and dedicated payroll specialists Pay Expert increasing their team by five employees in 2012. With a turnover increase of 20% in comparison to 2011 and striving to constantly develop their services, HR Advantage is delighted to announce these new business services, their partnership with their charity of the year Skidz and is launching a newly developed campaign to promote their HRA Essentials package.

As one of the leading UK providers of flexible and practical human resource services, HR Advantage
has recently joined forces with Pay Expert; a dedicated payroll specialist to provide a fresh approach to payroll services and help businesses keep on top of payroll processes to ensure efficient and correct paperwork and payment for employees, especially as payroll legislation becomes more complex.

Steve Sweetlove, former Managing Director of Pay Expert and now Head of HRIT at HR Advantage says: “We are excited to formally join forces with HR Advantage, having worked closely together over the last 5 years. Both companies share the commitment to providing reliable, personable services tailored to our customers’ needs, and am pleased that our combined team will now be able to offer new and existing customers a full range of services covering all aspects of employment.”

Adhere Training has also merged with HR Advantage and is renowned regionally as the expert in the provision of business training for small to medium businesses. The Adhere Training Club offers a unique service, offering employees access to unlimited workshops, for a fixed annual fee dependent on the number of employees accessing the training club. Former Managing Director at Adhere Training Lisa Butler is now Head of Training Service at HR Advantage.

With new services on the horizon, HR Advantage is launching a newly developed campaign to promote their HRA Essentials package. The campaign aims to help develop companies of around 10-20 employees whom, with the aid of a tool kit and local HR consultant, can ensure all business compliances are completed. The service uniquely benefits from providing experienced HR consultants who are familiar with the local business area and can use this knowledge to complement each individual company. Initial start-up fees begin at £500 + VAT with monthly service fees from £75 + VAT per month. On call advice and guidance, essential staff and employment documentation, fully compliant policies and procedures are all included.

With change and progression within the company comes a new team member, as HR Advantage welcome Sam Barnes as a new Business Development Manager. Sam, 34, has joined HR Advantage after previously working at Skills South East. Barnes says: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at HR Advantage and wanted something different from my experience in the public sector and to be involved in direct selling of contracts from start through to finish. It is exciting times in the company!”

In addition to business needs, HR Advantage are passionate about giving back to the local community and are delighted to announce their chosen charity of the year – SKIDZ. SKIDZ is a Motor Project that gives young people a chance to gain vocational skills in motor mechanics in an adult work-style environment so that they have a better chance of finding future employment.

HR Advantage is excited to be working with SKIDZ, and will be donating their time and services and hoping to raise money for the local charity. Sam Barnes, Business Development Manager of HR Advantage says: “As a business HR Advantage is all about finding the right people for the right job with relevant skills and great motivation. Skidz helps young people develop their skills with motor vehicles, is hugely motivating and can boast a string of successes with getting their students into jobs, so it’s just a great fit!”

Emma-Louise Singh, Head of Fundraising of SKIDZ says: “SKIDZ are delighted to be the chosen charity of the year and are set to benefit greatly from HR Advantage’s time and expertise over the next 12 months. We look forward to working closely with HR Advantage to raise vital funds, which will enable us to help disadvantaged young people to gain the skills and confidence they need to get ahead in life.”
