Equniti introduce new cloud time and absence management solution

-

Equiniti will provide a cloud based, fully managed time and attendance solution for Her Majesty’s Passport Office, which currently has 2,500 employees working from 37 locations across the UK.

The solution will be initially set out at the Glasgow site of HM Passport Office’s and will be implemented in six other HM Passport Office location throughout the UK.

Equiniti’s solution was purchased by HM Passport Office through the Government’s G-Cloud procurement framework. The centrally managed web-based cloud platform reduces the work involved in recording planning, managing absence, reporting and auditing, as well as the scheduling of employees who work on a fixed or flexible hour’s basis.

Nigel Farr, a Director at Equiniti said, says:

“Working patterns have changed dramatically over the last decade and far fewer businesses operate the stereotypical 9-5 hours. Having a time and attendance system that is cloud based is becoming increasingly essential in order to accommodate anything from flexible working or remote working to job sharing and hot-desking across locations.

“Her Majesty’s Passport Office has increased its flexibility and capability to respond to extreme external pressures which have a direct effect on its workforce requirements. This ensures that critical citizen facing services can be easily scaled to meet demand.”

Equiniti’s experience in HR and payroll includes processing payments for NHS trusts. Their clients include the Scottish Parliament, the Electoral Office of Northern Ireland and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. They have also processed payments for 20 percent of UK pensioners and support 20 percent of work-based pension schemes.
