DHL Express named one of Britain’s Top Employers

-

DHL Express was recently announced as a top employer in the large companies category at Britain’s Top Employers Awards.

The awards by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) Institute recognise the organisations that meet the highest standards of HR. Out of 58 companies certified in this years Britain’s Top Employers list, DHL’s position shows that it is at the forefront of HR best practice.

DHL scored exceptionally well in all categories, but especially in Training & Development achieving 4.5 stars out of 5 stars, and was credited for the excellent opportunities employees have to develop an international career with the business.

Andrea Holton, Managing Director of HR at DHL Express UK & Ireland said: “We are thrilled to see the efforts of our HR team and managers at all levels being recognised by the wider HR community. The people at DHL are the driving force of the company and investment in them is a key priority for us. We strive to be first choice for our employees and provide excellent opportunities to help them develop their careers in DHL.”

Steven Veenendaal, CEO of the CRF Institute comments: “The combination of an ageing workforce, the economic recovery, and staff shortage in certain industries is making employers increasingly aware of the importance of selecting and retaining the right people and making sure that they come to work every day feeling motivated and engaged. The 58 certified organisations have put the welfare of their employees at the top of their list of priorities and are doing exceptionally well in offering the best working conditions. You will see that translated in the long-term sustainability of these companies.”
