Crown Relocations to go on prime time TV

-

Crown Relocations, a leader of international relocation services, has announced today that Narin Ganesh is to appear on Channel 4’s primetime TV programme, Undercover Boss. Narin is regional Finance Director for Crown Relocations in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Produced by Studio Lambert, the Undercover Boss series first appeared on UK screens in 2009. It has since also been broadcast in the USA, featuring senior staff at very well known organisations, including 7-Eleven, going ‘undercover’ to meet staff and experience life in a wide variety of non-managerial roles.

Narin, who joined Crown Worldwide Group in 2009, was filmed in February and early March over a number of days at several Crown Worldwide sites in the UK. Posing as a former production administrator, he shadowed employees within the Relocations division at Birmingham, Ruislip, Manchester and Leeds. Whilst undercover, Narin’s roles included working in a dedicated sales centre and packing the belongings of two families ahead of their overseas relocations.

Set to be screened on 19th August 2010, the programme will conclude with Narin reporting his findings back to Barry Koolen, Regional Managing Director – Crown Worldwide Group in the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Commenting on the programme, Narin said:
“Although I was initially apprehensive and slightly daunted about the thought of a camera following me for a week, I really appreciated this opportunity to sample life outside of the boardroom. Whilst we make a great deal of effort to understand the needs of employees on a daily basis, going undercover gave staff the opportunity to give me some frank feedback about what works and what doesn’t. As a relative newcomer to Crown Worldwide this was a hugely rewarding experience.

“I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism that I encountered. Crown Worldwide prides itself on its high level of customer service and all the staff that I met were absolutely committed to their roles. As an outcome though, I have taken onboard a number of ideas from the people that I met, many of which are already being progressed. I’m now just looking forward to seeing the programme in full!”

Crown Relocations offers a range of tailored relocation services, including household goods transportation and storage services as well as a number of destination services such as home, school and spousal job searches, plus immigration assistance. Crown Relocations operate in over 200 cities across six continents.
