Close appoints new Senior Consultant to strengthen employer divison

-

Close Asset Management, which provides bespoke financial education to companies, has appointed Jean Harvey to help develop and market their senior executive events.

Jean joins Close from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she spent 35 years, the last 26 years of which were in the Partner Affairs team. As well as responsibility for the partner health and benefit programmes, Jean oversaw the care and advice provided to partners who retired from the firm. This included helping partners with advice on outplacement programmes and pre-retirement courses. Jean was also responsible for setting up and running the former partner programmes at PwC.

At Close, Jean will have responsibility for the marketing of the flagship senior executive events as well as their development. She will also promote the company’s wider range of services, aimed at senior management and executives.

Jeanette Makings, Director of Financial Education Services at Close, commented: “At Close we have been offering specialist financial education and advice services to senior executives for over 15 years. Jean’s wealth of experience in her previous career made her a perfect candidate to join Close and assist with both running these programmes and communicating them effectively, especially as senior executives are potentially more likely to have very individual, more complex financial circumstances.
