The Future of Recruitment: Room for Everyone?

-

On March 26th the professional HR networking group, the London HR Connection, and the London School of Economics will host a panel-led debate looking at the thorny, much discussed subject of the future of recruitment.

There has probably never been a more confused or complex period in the recruitment and resourcing industry so the Board of the London HR Connection has invited four experts, each representing a different approach to the subject, to the LSE to try and settle this argument.

Digby Morgan CEO, Alistair Cook, will represent ‘traditional’ recruitment businesses and will be joined on the panel by Sue Brooks, Executive Vice President at Pinstripe & Ochre House, the world’s largest independent RPO organisation, representing Recruitment Process Outsourcing. They will be joined by Bill Boorman, the globally renowned expert on the burgeoning world of social media recruitment, who will represent that sector.

The final member of the panel, and supporting the use of direct sourcing, is Ian Dykes who is Director, Recruitment Europe for Cognizant Technology Solutions. At any one time Ian can be handling up to 800 vacancies and runs a direct sourcing in-house team of 48 people.
