National recognition for local job board

-

LoveLocalJobs.com has been recognised for its initiatives to help young people access the workplace.

The jobs board was a finalist in The Recruiter’s Investing in Talent Awards 2015, beating off competition from national and multi-national organisations for a top place in the Best Employability Strategy award.

The awards are judged by recruitment and human resources experts and is the first time that LoveLocalJobs.com has entered.

LoveLocalJobs.com has grown from one Brighton-based jobs board into a family of regional job boards. Running alongside the jobs boards are a series of employability sites, which LoveLocalJobs.com has created in partnership with schools, colleges and local businesses.  These are designed to provide young people with relevant information about career paths and training, along with practical advice on how to write a CV and excel in a job interview.

LoveLocalJobs.com’s Founder, Gary Peters, is passionate about giving young people practical support to help them find a rewarding job. He said:

“Working with schools and colleges is one of the most rewarding aspects of our work.  It’s a tough world out there for young people but it’s amazing what they can achieve with a bit of support.  It’s an honour to have our work in this area recognised by a prestigious publication like The Recruiter and I’d like to thank my team who make it all possible.  It goes without saying that we are all delighted with the accolade.”
