Win a race day experience at Williams Martini Racing with Randstad Technologies

-

Whether you’re a die-hard petrol head or just an uber-geek eager to sniff around the Williams Martini Racing HQ, Randstad Technologies has launched a competition that should appeal to you.

The recruiter, which specialises in placing people into IT jobs, is an official partner of Williams Martini Racing, and has put together a superb prize package of race day hospitality ahead of the US Grand Prix.

The winners of the competition will get tickets to Williams Martini Racing’s headquarters in Grove, Oxfordshire where they can watch the 2015 United States Grand Prix.  As part of the prize they will gain an insight into a race weekend with a pre-race brief from Williams Martini Race Team staff and a live link up with one of the drivers.

The winners will also have the opportunity to browse the Williams Grand Prix Collection – the largest private collection of Formula 1 cars in the world – which houses more than 40 of the team’s seminal race cars, and charts Williams’ motor racing history.

As well as 5* service and hospitality – including afternoon tea and an evening buffet before the race – the winner will also get to try out the BATAK, a training aid used by Formula 1 drivers which improves reaction, hand-eye coordination and stamina.

And the winner will be able to test their speed and co-ordination in an F1 simulator, housed in the Williams F1 Trophy Room, which offers the opportunity to take the seat in an FW22 which was driven in 2000 by Jenson Button.  The car offers realistic force feedback through the steering wheel simulating the loading effect whilst cornering, braking and acceleration.

IT and technology professionals based in the United Kingdom who want a chance to win can enter by logging ontohttps://www.randstad.co.uk/about-us/our-sponsorships/williams-martini-tech-competition/ and uploading their CV.

Ruth Jacobs, managing director of Randstad Technologies, said:

“Whether you are interested in new IT jobs  or have ever dreamed of testing your mettle against motorsport’s finest – send us your CV and you could be in with a chance of winning an exciting F1 experience hosted by a member of Williams. The winner will have the opportunity to browse the historic legacy of Williams heroes like Mansell, Prost, and Picqet in the Williams’ Grand Prix Collection and in the exclusive Trophy Room. In the simulator you’ll learn to break like Button before watching the countdown to the thrilling opening of the United States Grand Prix from your very own private link and see the unmissable action in a 5* setting. Just upload your CV and you could be taking the chequered flag home.”

The competition closes on 19th October 2015.
