Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), the provider of world-class talent and resourcing capability, has today announced that it has been selected by Santander, to provide a full Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solution across the company’s UK central specialist and contact centre; and global banking employee categories.

Alexander Mann Solutions was awarded the three year contract following a competitive tender process. The AMS team will be tasked with handling all of Santander’s professional and specialist recruitment as well as contact centre hiring in the UK together with the Global Banking hiring, expected to be over 2,000 hires per annum in total. The RPO solution will include a full range of resourcing services including employer branding, candidate sourcing, recruitment process management and assessment & selection delivery.

With over 1,000 branches within the UK and more than 25 million customers, Santander is one country’s largest providers of mortgages and savings. Santander has selected Alexander Mann Solutions in order to add end-to-end strategic support to the organisation’s talent functions. The Alexander Mann Solutions team will be based both on and off-site and the focus of the operation will be on reducing cycle times, improving retention and improving candidate quality.

“As an organisation that prides itself on providing the best products and services to our customers, Santander relies upon bringing in the highest quality of talent available,” commented Cameron Bird HR Operations Director for Santander. “Having a world-class resourcing function is therefore absolutely essential in order to attract and retain the best people in the market. We are confident that, by selecting Alexander Mann Solutions as one of our recruitment partners to design, manage and implement our end-to-end recruitment processes, we have brought in a market leading partner to help us maintain and indeed improve our market position and continue to deliver high quality services to our customers.”

Rosaleen Blair, CEO and founder of Alexander Mann Solutions added, “We are very pleased to be working with Santander and are confident that the AMS team will have a real impact on the company’s resourcing function in the near future. What makes us particularly proud of this agreement is the fact that Santander was one of the first organisations to originally adopt RPO in the UK. The fact that they have now chosen to build upon their original outsourced arrangement is a real testament to the way that Alexander Mann Solutions has driven the RPO industry forwards, innovating to provide real business benefits to our clients across a range of resourcing disciplines.”
