RBC Wealth Management Appoints International Head of Human Resources

JERSEY, Channel Islands – RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE), Canada’s largest bank, today announced the appointment of Keith Pearse as Head of Human Resources for the international arm of RBC Wealth Management. Pearse, who is based in RBC Wealth Management’s Jersey office, was previously Head of Human Resources for RBC Wealth Management in the British Isles; his new mandate covers the British Isles, continental Europe, Asia, N. America, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada. Pearse will also join RBC Wealth Management’s international Executive Committee.

Pearse joined the international division of RBC Wealth Management in 2008 from CMS Cameron McKenna – a leading London based international law firm – where he was Director of Operations. Prior to this, Pearse was Head of Knowledge and Information Management for Arthur Andersen in Europe. Pearse started his career with British Petroleum (BP) and was with them for 18 years in a variety of international roles in petroleum engineering, IT and organisational development. Pearse is currently a guest lecturer on the executive MBA programme at Nottingham University Business School.
