Linear opened up a whole street party to celebrates 10th anniversary

-

Independent national construction recruitment company, Linear*, had such a lot to celebrate when it held its 10th anniversary birthday bash recently that its offices weren’t big enough….so it opened up the whole street for a party!

The company, whose HQ is located in Sheffield, applied to the council for a special licence to close St Peter’s Close where it is based and invited 300 guests who took their chances on the bucking bronco, feasted on a hog roast and enjoyed a drink or two from the complimentary bar.

Comments managing director of Linear, Adam Turner: “As we reach our ten-year anniversary we’re a company with a lot to celebrate including reaching a turnover of over £17M, so it seemed right to have a big celebration and it was definitely a street party to remember. Both the construction and recruitment sectors have suffered a dramatic decline over the past three years but our specialist knowledge, personal service and strategic management have actually enabled us to grow significantly over the past 18 months.”

As one of Linear’s clients, Sean Quinn, projects director of M J Gleeson Group commented, “Linear knows our business like one of our own team so they always get us the right person with the right skills for the job. A company that will go the extra mile for its customers day in and day out is a rarity, but Linear really do have that nothing’s-too-much-trouble approach to business, which I think is why they’re growing so rapidly even in today’s marketplace.”
