KDS joins forces with Hotelzon to expand hotel booking service.

-

KDS, the leading European supplier of integrated travel and expense (T&E) management systems, is improving and expanding the company’s ‘KDS Corporate’ product with the addition of Hotelzon’s content and functionality.

Hotelzon, one of the most respected corporate online hotel booking companies in Europe, is adding the firm’s complete inventory of over 100,000 hotels worldwide to the KDS Corporate solution. The offering is particularly strong in the UK (over 6,000 hotels) and the Nordic states, and includes exclusive inventory in Finland, Sweden, China and the UK.

Yves Weisselberger, chief executive officer of KDS, says: “Hotel bookings represent a growing part of our business. Working with Hotelzon, we’ll be offering our customers an even greater range of top hotels at attractive rates. This kind of content-driven partnership makes life so easy for our customers, as we offer a one-stop shop for booking every aspect of a business trip.”

One of the great benefits of the system’s functionality is that loyalty cards for chains such as Marriott, Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group can still be used when booking through Hotelzon.

Hotelzon believes this new partnership with KDS will increase the company’s business and volumes considerably. Jani Kaskinen, chief executive officer of Hotelzon, says: “We are very pleased to have signed a deal with KDS as a new partner. The benefits from this agreement will affect both of our parties and customers will get the absolute most from their T&E management. The door is now also open for the possibility to expand into new markets.”
