Edenred launches virtual events roadshow to promote childcare benefits to working parents 24/7

-

Edenred has launched Working Parents Zone, a virtual benefits roadshow for employers which gives employees on-demand access to education and information about childcare benefits and common issues facing working parents.

The virtual roadshow simulates a “live” exhibition and allows employees to find out about the benefits which are on offer at a time and place which suits them.

Through their laptops, tablets or mobile devices, employees can visit an Edenred exhibition which is divided into three zones: making the most of childcare vouchers, dealing with childcare issues and other benefits for working parents.

Employees can download information into ‘event bags’, watch films, attend webinars and pose questions in scheduled time slots when the stands are virtually staffed by Edenred employees.

During the initial launch phase, Edenred clients have promoted the virtual benefits site resulting in over one thousand employees “visiting” the virtual exhibition stand and downloading information into event bags.  Parents have also attended twenty “live chats” hosted by childcare experts.

Andy Philpott, sales and marketing director for Edenred, said:

“The effectiveness of benefits communication is a perennial barrier to benefits take-up. Working Parents Zone is a new solution to that problem and we are pleased at the positive impact this new communications tool is having for our clients and their employees.  By helping employers to promote Childcare Vouchers and other benefits to many more employees than is possible through a traditional “roadshow” event and through traditional channels, Working Parents Zone is a great way of driving up benefits engagement.”
