Debenhams’ human resources director, Nikki Zamblera, has been appointed to the operational advisory board of a privately-owned, London-based technology business, blur Group.

Blur Group claims to run the world’s largest b2b services exchanges (the ‘ebay for businesses services’). The company recently raised $2m through ‘angel’ investors and reports it has been enjoying strong growth, with over 20,000 members, or ‘experts’ on the exchanges, providing services to businesses all over the world.

The company has also announced the formation of a strategic advisory board, which includes such well known names as Archie Norman and Kevin Lomax.

Commenting on the appointments and the new advisory boards, Philip Letts, CEO of blur, said “We’re delighted to have the insight of this extraordinary group of business leaders and innovators contributing to the business.

“I believewe have attracted a talent pool which is unrivalled in any company of our size on either side of the Atlantic, and this breadth of expertise will be a key element in ensuring that blur becomes the hugely successful, UK-headquartered, global player the UK tech industry so desperately needs.”
