Cascade launches new talent management module

-

HR and payroll software specialist Cascade HR is set to launch a new talent management module. The functionality will be revealed for the first time at the CIPD’s Annual Conference & Exhibition (ACE) at Manchester Central, on 5-6 November 2014.

Combining an abundance of features including analysis of competencies, performance reviews, appraisals and 360° feedback, Cascade will enable clients to evaluate employees’ strengths and weaknesses, identify scope for development and, ultimately, transform an organisation’s approach to talent management.

Commenting on the reasons for this new release, Cascade’s client services director Heather Vitty said: “For years organisations have talked about their employees as their most valuable assets. But now it is more important than ever to develop and retain these crucial resources.

“This is because the economic difficulties of recent times placed unprecedented pressures on the workplace. However recent labour market statistics show rising employment figures, which present new-found personnel challenges for business owners.

“It is therefore imperative that businesses begin to strategise their approach to talent management, whilst also refining the retention, engagement and reward mechanisms they put into place. As a forward thinking software provider we have developed technology that can proactively assist them with this important aspect of HR and we look forward to unveiling it at this milestone CIPD event.”

The launch of this new module is not the only thing Cascade has in store for ACE 2014. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see Cascade’s sales manager Marc Greggains deliver an authoritative seminar entitled “Big data, big deal.”

Taking place on Wednesday 5 November (day one) at 12:45, this 30 minute session will investigate the extent to which big data presents new opportunities for HR professionals. Marc elaborates: “Never before has the industry had so much information at its fingertips, yet data in isolation cannot transform an organisation. We are keen to show HR professionals how to make meaningful uses of big data, before looking at the ways with which technology – specifically reporting functionality – can help.”

Despite being regular presenters at the CIPD’s annual HR Software Show, this is the first time Cascade has taken to the stage at ACE. Marc concludes: “We are passionate about sharing our expert knowledge with the wider HR industry, and the Annual Conference and Exhibition is a fantastic platform on which to do that. We are delighted to have been asked to present and look forward to helping as many delegates as we can on the day.”

A 7-strong team of Cascade’s HR experts will be on stand 650 throughout the two day event. If you would like to pre-register for free entry to the exhibition, visit the ACE booking form.
