According to the latest Badenoch & Clark talent spotlight review organisations are feeling more confident about the future and are now willing to make longer-term investments in learning and development specialist especially at managerial level.
It seems that professionals specialising in learning and development have been in hot demand since the beginning of 2011 as opportunities have arisen across both public and private sectors.

“As companies focus on staff training and development, there are increasing specialist opportunities for providing training in HR. Specific areas of demand include technical training experts in financial services, strategic resource for CPD programmes within professional services, and the training of technical sales teams in the wider commercial sector.”
